The best feature of this product is the IC Chip that allows you to search based on the recording date that was not saved in the tape. Once the cassette is inserted into the camcorder, the first date of use, last date of use, available recording space, and titling capability is automatically displayed on the LCD screen.Great Product!.

It is a good product from Sony.Mini DV video cassettes with memory chip are really good ,with this feature I can do indexing with my videos.No doubt quality is very good.Price is bit high but for quality product,its a good buy.I wish It could have less price so that I can buy some more .

I have used this tape for more than a fortnight now and found the quality of images to be fine. Beginners go for cheaper stuff like Sony DVM80PRL.

Very good Mini DV. IC Chip embedded in the Mini DV Cassette. This IC Chip is useful to search the cassette based on recording date. Camcorder needs this function. Sony DCR-HC85, HC40 camera is equiped with this feature.
